Abstract:

It is light brown to yellow brown fine powder extracted from the dried root of plant “Astragalus Membranaceus (fisch)Bge. Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bge. Var. mongholicus (Bge) Hsiao. The Astragalus Root mainly contains three groups of active ingredients; they are astragalus polysaccharides, astragalus saponins, astragalus flavone. The Astragaloside IV is an important active monomer as a criteria to determinate the quality of Astragalus Root Extract powder.
