Berberine is Isoquinoline alkaloids extracted from Coptis Root Extract (Chinese Goldthread Extract, Coptidis Rhizoma Extract)or Amur Cork-tree Bark extract (Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex Extract) or Berberis pliretii Schneid.
Berberine is a yellow crystal powder, no odour, extremely bitter, it can be soluble in hot water, and slightly soluble in water or ethanol. According to the solvent used in production, it can be reacted into Berberine hydrochloride and Berberine sulfate.

Function & Application
