The most active ingredients are phenolic compounds including Magnolol, Tetrahhydromagnolol, Honokiol, Isomagnolol, Bornylmagnolol, Piperitylmagnolol, Pieperityholokiol, Magnatriol, Magnloignan etc. We determine the quality by HPLC analysing the content of Magnolol and Honokiol.
